How do I manage a proposal after I've sent it?
Once a proposal is out, you can track where it stands and take action without rebuilding it. Here's what you can do from your proposals list and from an individual proposal.
Every proposal shows a status so you always know what's happening:
- Draft — you're still building it; your client can't see it yet.
- Sent — it's with your client and waiting on them.
- Accepted — your client signed and paid. The proposal is finalized and locked.
- Expired — the expiration date passed before your client acted.
- Voided — you canceled it.
You can also find any proposal quickly using the search at the top of your dashboard.
Open a proposal (or its menu from the list) to:
- Send a reminder — nudge a client who hasn't responded yet.
- Copy link — grab the proposal link again to resend it yourself.
- Edit — make changes while it's still open. You can edit until the proposal is accepted, declined, or voided. If your client is viewing it when you make changes, they'll be prompted to refresh to the latest version before they can accept.
- Duplicate — copy the whole proposal into a new draft to reuse for another client or project.
- Cancel (void) — close out a proposal you no longer want open. Voiding is final.
Reminders before a proposal expires
If you set an expiration date, Titus will remind your client before the proposal lapses, so a deal doesn't quietly expire because they forgot. You can also send a reminder yourself at any time.

Each proposal keeps an activity log of its key moments, when it was drafted, sent, viewed, signed, and paid. Open a proposal to see its timeline if you ever need to confirm what happened and when.
FAQ
My client says the proposal looks out of date, what happened?
If you edited the proposal after they opened it, they're seeing an older version. They'll get a prompt to refresh, which loads your latest changes. They have to be on the current version to accept.
Can I reopen a voided proposal?
No. Voiding is final. If you need it back, clone it into a new draft and send the new one.
What happens to the invoice if I void a proposal?
Voiding a proposal that was still in draft also clears its linked draft invoice. The proposal stays in your list as a record.
Can I edit a proposal after my client accepts?
No. Once accepted, the proposal is locked as the agreed-upon version and a signed PDF is saved.
