Invoice Late Fees and Overdue Reminders
Titus can automatically charge a late fee and send reminder emails when invoices go past due. You control whether late fees apply and how reminders are timed.
Late Fees
When an invoice becomes overdue, Titus can apply a flat late fee. You can enable late fees when creating a new invoice. You can also set default late fee settings by navigating to Settings > Invoices in your Titus Dashboard. Late fees apply automatically once an invoice passes its due date.
Overdue Reminder Emails
Titus sends automated reminder emails to customers when invoices are overdue. You can configure overdue reminders when creating a new invoice. You can also set default overdue reminders by navigating to Settings > Invoices in your Titus Dashboard. Use the dropdown menu to choose the amount of days for your overdue reminders. You can schedule up to three reminders.
What Your Customer Receives
Overdue reminder emails include the invoice amount, due date, and a link to pay.
Tips
- Enable late fees to encourage on-time payment.
- Space reminders a few days apart (e.g., 1 day and 7 days after due).
