How to Stop or Resume Text Messages (STOP & START Commands)?

If you would like to stop receiving SMS messages from Titus, simply reply STOP to any Titus text message. We will process your request and remove you from SMS notifications.

To resume receiving messages at any time, reply START to the same number.

What opting out affects

Opting out will unsubscribe you from all Titus SMS messages, including:

  • Invitation and welcome messages
  • Payment reminders and confirmations
  • Loan application status updates

You will still receive important updates via email. If you have an active loan, please check your email regularly to avoid missing any important repayment notices.

Re-enabling messages

To rejoin SMS communications, text START to the same number you previously received messages from.

Your opt-out will be cleared, and messages should resume within a few minutes.


FAQ

I texted STOP but I’m still receiving messages. Why?
Opt-out requests are usually processed within minutes, but messages already queued may still be delivered. If you continue receiving texts after about an hour, please contact Titus Support.

Can I opt out of only certain types of messages?
No. Replying STOP will opt you out of all SMS communications. If you feel some messages are unnecessary, we welcome your feedback.

Does this affect email communications?
No. This only applies to SMS. To manage email preferences, use the unsubscribe link in any Titus email or update your notification settings in your account.

I opted out through my carrier. Do I still need to text STOP?
No. If your carrier has processed your opt-out (via Twilio), your status is automatically updated and no further action is required.
